College Information Workshop for Homeschoolers at UNH Manchester October 30

Derek Burkhardt of UNH Manchester writes: There are a number of resources to help guide students through their college experience. Being previously homeschooled, I found it difficult to seek out information about financial aid and local colleges (or even to know what the right questions were to ask). To alleviate this issue, I will be hosting a financial aid and college information session specifically for local homeschoolers on behalf of UNH Manchester. The event will take place on October 30 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at 88 Commercial Street.

At the information session, we will have the Assistant Director of Financial Aid, Sharon Eaton, to assist junior and senior homeschoolers on applying for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and completing financial aid processes. In addition, I will be available as a College Relations Representative to provide information on the college, student activities, first year experience, and UNH Manchester educational programs.

If you are interested in joining us, please register for the Homeschool Information Session or our Fall Open House events at http://manchester.unh.edu/admissions/events.

We are thrilled to have homeschoolers visit our campus and hope you will be able to attend. Please contact, Derek Burkhardt (College Relations Representative) at Derek.Burkhardt@unh.edu should you have any future questions.
