Published by the New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition, the Guidebook is loaded with information about homeschooling in New Hampshire. There are sections on why people choose to home school, how to actually go about educating your children at home, an explanation of the New Hampshire homeschooling laws, and a section on field trips in New Hampshire.
If you can't purchase your own copy, but would like to take a look at the information, you should know that copies of the Guidebook (the older 1998 edition with updates) were placed in every public library in the state. And many libraries (about 50) have purchased the 2006 edition. Some libraries have it available to take out and some libraries place it in the reference section.
To order your own copy (2011 edition) and have all the information you need at your fingertips, you can purchase online. Libraries and bookstores who would like to purchase the Guidebook please contact Erin Groudas.
Or order your Guidebook by mail. Please send us your name, address, and a telephone number or email address, so we can contact you if there are any questions. To have your Guidebook sent by priority mail, enclose a check for $15. To have your Guidebook send via media mail (may take up to three weeks) enclose a check for $12.
Please make your check payable to NHHC. Guidebook orders should be sent to the following address:
