Report from the NHHC Board
At the Board of Representatives meeting on November 8, we welcomed new representatives and elected officers for the year. Amy Gall will serve as Interim Coordinator, in hopes of retiring from the job by the year’s end. Emilia Brown continues as secretary. Amy Gall will take on the treasurer duties. Paula-Marie Passen is the new newsletter editor, and Amy Zinck-Farkas will be the webmaster.
At each meeting, representatives report on the questions they’ve received from homeschoolers and people considering homeschooling, and on home education issues that have come up in their districts. We discuss solutions, referring to past experiences, the home education law and rules. It’s always interesting! The Board also talked about spring workshop plans and other ways for homeschoolers to get together and help each other out. The next meeting is planned for January and will be posted on our website www.nhhomeschooling.org and on Facebook.
Fifty homeschooled children, ages 4-14, rehearsed at Camp Sentinel in Tuftonboro with the crew from Children’s Stage Adventures. In one week they put on an amazing musical. The Fisherman and His Wife, performed on November 17 at the
